Welcome to Scott Hartman's Skeletal Drawing.com!

New website officially under construction (Update 6/17/13):

I've been talking about updating the website for...a couple of years now. Well I thought I'd let readers know that the new site is officially under construction, and not only will it have fully updated galleries (so you can finally find all of my skeletals in one place) but it will have better discussion capabilities, and I will be integrating the blog into the site more closely, so you don't have to jump back and forth between the two. The look of the site will also be completely redesigned to bring it a new and more modern look.

The Skeletal Drawing Blog is live:

The blog lets me get out content faster, and take a look at how the latest findings change our views on dinosaurs and how to reconstruct them. Check it out!

My ABC Dinosaurs book is out:

Working with the fantastic people at Sterling Publishing and the American Museum of Natural History we created a book aimed at 2-4 year olds that are learning their ABCs, and love dinosaurs. You'll find some old favorites, as well as some dinosaurs you've never heard of before. And it incorporates up-to-the-moment anatomical accuracy, all wrapped up in colorful illustrations kids will enjoy. I know, I got to field test it with my own daughter. Get it at your local bookstore, or grab it from Amazon.

Dawn Runner:

Richard Butler et al., have just described Eocursor, a basal ornithiscian dinosaur from the Triassic of South Africa. See the skeletal reconstruction here, or go to the Sedgwick Museum for more information.
